For the sequence data, an underline marks the predicted reading frame for the proteolysis- inducing peptide tag, and lowercase marks segments not homologous to tmRNA, intervening segments that are absent in the mature tmRNA, and portions of the expected 3-prime CCA tail that are not encoded in the genome. Suspected base-pairing is marked with the same color coding as the secondary structure model (viewable at right). Also presented are the predicted Proteolysis Tag, Taxonomy, and careful crediting both for Sequencing and Identification as tmRNA.
