Mehndi
Mehndi is the Indian traditional practice of applying henna to skin, usually for auspicious occasions such as weddings or festivals. Shital Parmar, an undergraduate studying computer science at a university in Indianapolis, learned mehndi as a child growing in Gujarat, India. She moved to Indianapolis in 1997.
