Curt Miller
NEW Women's Baskball Coach
Special Guest: Curt Miller
July 20, 2012
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head women's basketball coach Curt Miller had great success on the court during his 11 year tenure at the helm of the Bowling Green State University program, but his teams were also stellar in the classroom. For the fourth-consecutive year under Miller's watch and for the fifth time in six seasons, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) recognized BGSU on its 2011-12 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
Miller's 2011-12 squad collectively had a 3.347 GPA to rank 24th nationally among all Division I women's basketball programs. During his time with the Falcons, Miller's teams ranked as high a fifth in the country in team GPA in 2008-09, sixth in 2009-10 and 11th in 2010-11.
The WBCA recognized teams throughout the country that have the highest grade point averages (GPA) for the 2011-12 season based upon nominations submitted by WBCA member schools. The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and junior/community college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2011-12 season was the 17th in which the WBCA has produced the honor rolls.
