July

The University Club Board met on July 11 and approved an agreement with Meadowood. The agreement opens the door for a cooperative and collaborative effort to provide more opportunities for University Club members and Meadowood residents. Meadowood offers a very extensive travel program that will now be available to U Club members. Their travel program includes many day trips and a number of extended trips throughout the year.

List of August Trips There are five trips to choose from in just the month of August!

The board continues to define the goals for the year.

Increase membership

Increase participation in the many programs planned by members

Promote participation in the many Interest Groups

SPECIAL OFFER:

Added membership is a high priority goal as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the University Club's founding. Members can help in this important activity by inviting friends to attend the July, September or October programs. Non-Members who become members at one of these programs will be the guest of the Club for that event. If the non-member has paid in-advance,(or if a member has paid for his or her guest) the fee will be reimbursed within two weeks.
