Tom Morrison

In 2009, Dr. Thomas A. Morrison was appointed as Indiana University's new Vice President for Capital Projects and Facilities. In this position, Tom Morrison serves as IU's chief capital, facilities, planning, and real estate officer overseeing all facility related operations, acquisitions, and capital projects. Previously, Morrison served as Indiana University's chief liaison and representative to the Indiana General Assembly and other State agencies as Associate Vice President for Public Affairs and State Relations. He continues to serve as a liaison to State and Federal agencies for all capital related items.

ULI Indiana - The IUPUI Master Plan, a Living Guide for Strategic Development & Decision Making

In 2009, the Board of Trustees approved a Master Plan that the University has developed for the two major campuses of Indiana University - Bloomington and IUPUI.

The Master Plan is intended to guide the university, creating a framework for strategic development and decision making grounded in academic and research needs, the realities of campus environments, fiscal constraints and broad campus constituencies.

The Master Plan is a living guide; it adapts to the needs of the campus and its stakeholders, and to new or unforeseen factors. Thus, current or future construction projects reflect the spirit of the plan, but may not necessarily match the plan, as approved in 2009, exactly.
