Explore Majors and More Fair

Weather Update: Please note that the Fair is still scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5th even with the current weather concerns.  If campus closes, however, the Fair will be rescheduled and we will update this site with that information.  

Map out your future at the Explore Majors and More Fair! Travel with us to find academic and extracurricular opportunities that will build and enhance your IU experience. Career and academic advisors, faculty and students will be available at the fair to guide you through the many destinations possible at IUB.

Steps to prepare for the Explore Majors and More Fair:
  1. Self-reflect on your interests and goals.  
    • The Explore Majors at IU website can help you see how these interests relate to majors
    • MyPlan.com offers students online assessments and information about majors and careers.  
  2. Drop by the Career Development Center and meet with a career advisor.  Drop-in hours are 12:30-4pm weekdays.
  3. Meet with your University Division or academic advisor to narrow your list of potential majors.
    • Refer to Degree Planning Guides for degree requirements.  These are best used in consulation with your academic advisor.  
  4. Come to the Explore Majors and More Fair with your list of potential majors and any questions!

Consider making overseas study a part of your IUB degree!  Join an advisor from the Office of Overseas Study, and students recently returned from study abroad, for a discussion of Summer 2014 and future   Overseas Study options.  Information about financial aid opportunities, eligibility requirements and applications will be available. Admission to the Kelley School of Business (KSB) undergraduate program is very selective.  Attend this event to hear from KSB admissions staff about the requirements for admission, the application review process and what it takes to be a successful candidate to the Kelley School of Business!  If you are considering applying to the Kelley School of Business and did not attend a KSB Admissions meeting last fall semester, make plans now to attend this meeting!  Additionally, we invite you to explore the majors available in the Kelley School of Business and find out about special opportunities such as Business-specific study abroad programs and the Business Honors program.
