Your academic choices should be based on matching your aptitudes, skills, and interests with courses, curricula, and career considerations. You should explore majors, minors, certificates, personal specializations, and related career fields. A great way to explore your academic choices is to look at the listing of majors found on the Majors by Degree-Granting School web page. To find out more about careers and career related information visit the Career Development Center website. Whether you are exploring majors or considering a major change, you should attend one of the Choosing Your Major workshops offered in the fall and spring semesters. Another place to start exploring is the listing of IU Campus Resources and Services on this site. There are academic advisors, career counselors, professors, libraries, career centers, fairs and expos, and web sites to help you. The best place to begin is the Majors and Careers Series website where you will find an information page for every major at Indiana University.
