Change in Non-IU Coverage

The following circumstances will allow you to make changes to your benefit plans outside of Open Enrollment:


To make changes to any of the plans listed immediately below, you will need to one request a Family Status Change through the Employee Center and two complete online enrollment of your changes once your request is approved by HR. You must make the change within 30 days.

Dental plan
Change the number of people covered, discontinue a plan, or add a plan.

Medical plan
Change the number of people covered, discontinue a plan, or add a plan.

Personal Accident Insurance
Change the number of people covered, discontinue a plan, or add a plan.

Tax Saver Benefit
Change the amount of your allocation for health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts.
