Thursday, May 14 Reopen typing/word testing, Office 2007
All applicants will need to retest
Monday, May 18 HR Reps Meeting
Wednesday, May 20 Notice to applicants re: create new U-OLA account
No data will convert from BL-OLA
Thursday, May 21 Job postings in BL-OLA must expire 6/11
Thursday, June 4 Only 1-week job posts accepted; other postings will need to wait until 6/12
Thursday, June 11 Last day applicants can apply in BL-OLA
Friday, June 12 Begin job posts in U-OLA
Applicants must apply in U-OLA
Friday, June 26 Jobs may be posted with typing/word requirements
Tuesday, September 1 BL-OLA retired (access no longer available to departments)
Departments must have completed all hires from BL-OLA job listings

What’s different?

Access U-OLA by Roles rather than a department password. Utilizes CAS authentication.

Department Contacts will complete the Job Listing Request form in OLA.

Service Maintenance application process – only current appointed staff may apply with a paper application; outside applicants (including current hourly) must apply via U-OLA

Hires for promotions/demotions/transfers from department ‘internal only’ postings must complete an Applicant Account in U-OLA. They must store their resume in their Applicant Account. They are not required to ‘apply’ for a job, however they must have created an account, except for Service Maintenance jobs as noted above.
