Benefits Enrollment for New Employees
Step 1: Create an IU computing account
Before enrolling online in IU's benefit plans, you must have an IU computing account. Go to the following University Information Technology Services (UITS) page to create your account: uits.iu.edu/page/achn#sfs.
This process includes setting your Network ID—your "electronic identity" at IU. You will use this ID throughout IU's computing systems including email and to create more accounts.
Have your 10-digit employee ID number ready. Your hiring department has this number if you do not know it.
