CorRective Action Reasonable, Related Rules

Was the rule or order reasonable, safe, and related to university needs?

Written rules usually pass this test. On-the-spot orders most often are challenged. Except in cases of immediate danger to one's health and safety, an employee generally must follow the "work now and grieve later" approach. Disobeying any rule may be cause for disciplinary action unless the rule or order is illegal or unsafe.
