University-wide Organizational Development

University consultants are available to consult with departments on a variety of organizational development issues. Specific types of consulting include:

Strategic Planning -- Development of a vision and mission, goals, and an action plan to achieve the desired future

Performance Consulting -- Identification of the primary business needs of the unit and the development of the training, job aids, etc. needed to achieve the individual and group performance necessary to meet those needs

Managing Change -- Strategies for successfully managing change in your organization

Team Building -- An assessment of your team's strengths and weaknesses and customized training to meet your specific needs

Problem Solving -- Meeting facilitation to analyze and solve specific problems

Process Analysis -- Mapping, analyzing, and re-engineering processes to be more effective

Train the Trainer for On-the-Job Training -- Task analysis and development of individualized training plans to meet various learning styles and experience levels

Performance Management -- Development of an effective, legal, performance feedback and management system

Customer Service -- A comprehensive realignment of philosophy and strategies to focus on customer service as a core value
