IU Announces Second-Round Ameritech Fellows Program Awards

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The Indiana University Office of the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer has announced the names of 13 faculty selected to receive grants totaling $180,520 in the second round of the Ameritech Fellows Program.

"The faculty selected as IU's Ameritech Fellows in this round will apply information technology to enhance teaching and learning in disciplines including history, education, biology, and fine arts," said Garland C. Elmore, Associate Vice President for Teaching and Learning Information Technologies at IU. Elmore added that the innovative projects proposed by these faculty will include CD ROM authoring, Web-based interactive modules, a digital time-lapse video, and many other creative uses of information technology.
