Accessing VU
Access to VU requires an IUIE database account. You may register for an account at the IUIE Registration page. The default password is typically the first four characters of your mother's maiden name plus the first four of your city of birth.
To reset your account password go to http://onestart.iu.edu, login as yourself, then click on Services(beige button on top), then Administrative Systems(on left), then IUIE left, then access IUIE(middle of page), then at the top there is a thumb print and it says Personalize, click on the thumbprint, half way down is Administrative Information, where you can change your DSS Oracle Password.
