Electrical Engineer - PA3FC
Description and Responsibilities:
Designs, oversees, coordinates, and monitors electrical and mechanical systems for information technology buildings at Indiana University. Participates in IT building renovations, construction projects, mechanical equipment replacements and additions. Serves as a consultant to the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and University Information Technology Services on matters that are related to engineering services.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: EE or EA degree and five years related electrical/mechanical systems experience.
Must have a valid driver's license
Knowledge of computer room HVAC and electrical systems; excellent interface skills and large project management; experience with large scale UPS/diesel generator back-up systems, major construction and renovations projects; and familiarity with electrical measuring equipment.
Preferred: State of Indiana engineer license/certification.
