IT Communications Project Manager - PA3PR

Description and Responsibilities:

Manages deliverables and communicates effectively with team members in the delivery of all the IT Communications Office portfolio, including video, photography, public relations, digital, and print products including but not limited to websites, mobile applications, print brochures, advertisements, tablet publications, and other marketing and communications products; develops, monitors, and controls all aspects of a project including scope, budget, schedule, and resourcing; and interacts with clients and vendors, managing workflow (project set-up, daily schedule, deadlines, revisions, deliveries, proofing, specifications and template management). Assists staff members as needed.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in management, marketing, communications, journalism, or other relevant field and three years of senior communications experience and/or project management experience at an interactive agency, design/advertising agency, university, or software development firm.

Combinations of related education and experience will be considered. Must demonstrate knowledge of web technologies and have the ability to estimate costs and write technical specifications. Needs a working knowledge of one or more areas of creative production including graphic design, web design, or writing and editing. Must possess experience and expertise in one or more creative media including graphic design, web design, or writing/editing.

Preferred: Preference will be given to those with a working knowledge of technical and IT subject matter and project management experience. Certified Project Managers preferred.

Other: Explicit project management experience/job title is not required, but individuals must demonstrate considerable project management experience within their respective job roles.
