Linux Systems Analyst - Hourly
Hourly position in the Campus Bridging and Research Infrastructure Team. CBRI provides services to researchers, students and staff at IU including: the Pervasive Technology Institute Web Site, Open Source software mirror, source code control systems for development of scientific software at IU, and Research Database Complex Web Services.
Responsibilities include: dispatching trouble ticket queues and providing first line response to user inquiries; managing templates and panels in the team's Drupal system; entry-level linux/unix system administration tasks. Work hours are on premise at Cyberinfrastructure Building between 8-5, Mon-Fri.
Required skills: ability to interact with customers at IU and research community; familiarity with web content management systems (Drupal and Hannon Hill Cascade a plus); Unix/Linux system administration skills at SAGE Novice Level or above.
Compensation: minimum $17/hr, higher levels possible dependent upon experience and demonstrated track record.
