Project Manager, Human Resource Services - PA3AD
Description and Responsibilities:
Oversees staff and enhances UITS human resources and payroll daily operations providing services for 1000 full-time UITS employees IU system-wide (seven campuses/one center). Develops relationships with UITS managers/directors system-wide to identify needs and to develop and implement solutions enabling workforce planning and employee engagement. Represents UITS to campus- and system-level HR leadership to facilitate human resource and payroll processes consistently and effectively. Provides leadership and HR expertise; conducts or facilitates training; and develops innovative programs and communication vehicles to attract, retain, and develop IT talent.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years experience including demonstrated skills in staff supervision, project management, human resources functions, and training development and delivery.
Combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated ability to provide vision and leadership in human resources, specifically in information technology within a higher education setting; a broad understanding of information technology; and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Superior leadership skills; ability to develop consensus on human resources issues across campuses; and ability to gain trust and confidence of staff, managers, other departmental HR managers, and campus HR administration in order to establish a strong network for staff satisfaction, collaboration, and foster growth.
Preferred: Knowledge of IU HR policies and procedures.
