Enterprise Network Architect - PA4IT
Description and Responsibilities:
Develops and documents the future network architecture for Indiana University Enterprise network; and works with the network engineering groups and constituents when the current architecture does not meet their requirements and determines solutions and future direction.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree and eight years experience in network design and engineering with large complicated network systems which support commercial internet services and
advanced services such as IPV6 and Multicast.
Proficient understanding of capacity design and engineering for Research and Education works as well as large University production networks; Complete understanding of vendor technology direction in the areas of backbone routing/switching, wireless networking, network security protocols and mechanisms; and demonstrated leadership experience as well as effective communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external customers.
