Oncourse and ePortfolio Training & Development Intern
Assist with the creation and organization of training content for Oncourse CL and ePortfolio. Oncourse CL, IU's online collaboration and learning environment, powered by the Sakai community, supports teaching and learning, committees, projects, research, and eportfolios for Indiana University's community of students, faculty, and staff. Possible projects include: assisting with writing, recording, producing and updating feature demo animated movies illustrating various features of Oncourse and ePortfolio; assisting with writing training material to be used in PDF and HTML formats; and assisting in the development of other innovative content to teach aspects of Oncourse and ePortfolio.
Description of duties:
- Assist with the creation and updating of content used in feature demo training movies.
- Assist with the writing of training material to be delivered in PDF and/or HTML format.
- Keystroke and test developed training materials.
- Proposing other multimedia venues for providing training and support delivery for Oncourse CL.
- Collaborate with other members of the Sakai end-user support community as needed.
Qualifications:
The position is ideal for someone who has significant experience using Oncourse; experience in creating screencasts, animations, web pages, video, or
other multimedia presentations; and an interest in online delivery of training and support. Basic knowledge of multimedia applications and the
ability to create, edit, and prepare digital audio and/or video files is strongly preferred.
