How to find the IUSL Island
There are a few basic steps in order to find the IUSL campus in Second Life. First, you must have a Second Life account, called an avatar. Go to http://www.secondlife.com and sign-up.
Second, download and install the client (linked after you sign-up for an avatar). After this is done, launch the client and login with your avatar credentials. You will likely be placed on an orientation or help island - if you are new to Second Life, please walk through these areas to get better acquainted with the Second Life experience.
Third, once you are ready to find the IUSL island, use the search function and search for the words Indiana University or IUSL. One of the results will be Indiana University :: IUSL Campus - click on this and teleport on over.
Last, walk around, explore, ask questions, and enjoy your stay at the island!
