Actions Taken in Response to 2000 Survey
UITS takes survey responses seriously. Projects undertaken in response to the 2000 user survey include:
- Improved accessibility and longer hours for the UITS Support Center
- Expanded modem pool to help eliminate "busy signals" in remote network access
- Targeted communication programs such as "Welcome Week" and "Making IT Happen!"
- A new Web mail system for students
- Upgraded technology in classrooms
- Expanded education and technology training offerings, including NetG online learning
- More university-licensed software available on the IUWare CD and online
