Actions Taken in Response to 2001 Survey
Your responses to the survey
are very valuable to UITS. Each year your judgments help guide our plans and
activities. Projects undertaken in response to the 2001 survey include:
- Deployed a new Web mail system for students
- Upgraded technology in several classrooms
- Licensed more software and made it available to all students, faculty and staff
- Expanded technology training
- Upgraded hardware in the 24-hour student technology center
- Expanded certification opportunities for technology professionals
- Improved the Support Center corridor in the ES Building
- Developed a comprehensive technology Services Directory
- Upgraded central Web hosting and authoring environments
- Improved the student technology Web site
