rack of glasses sit on the ground in front of a Concorde supersonic aircraft
following a 20th anniversary celebration for the jet at Heathrow airport January
19. On January 21, 1976, Concorde made its inaugural commercial journey,
flying from London to Bahrain. Since then, the seven Concordes in British
Airway's fleet have made some 42,000 flights, travelling 125 million miles.
