Planning

Indiana University is a complex university, with eight campuses that have multiple missions. As such, the planning activities that occur throughout the organization concern a wide range of domains, including:

The following information relates to the broad, strategic planning initiatives of Indiana University and its individual campuses and includes links to primary resources for benchmarking and environmental scanning.

Developing and articulating university-wide objectives and organization as well as assessing and communicating progress toward those objectives is the strategic planning and reportings mission of the Office of the Vice President of Planning and Policy.

Current Projects

In December 2007 every Indiana University campus submitted a diversity plan to the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs. Progress on these plans will be monitored through annual reports and a set of diversity performance measures.
