The Legend of the Jordan River

My friend told me that her cousin's friend had the strangest thing happen to her boyfriend. One day, he and some friends had gone out running on a spring day when they stopped to rest for a while by the lovely Jordan River. They were all very thirsty but had not brought any water. My friend's cousin's friend's boyfriend decided out of desperation that he would just drink a little bit of water out of the river. The rest of his friends were quick to follow, being nearly dehydrated themselves. The next day, they all felt very strange. They went to the emergency room, but the doctors said that they had no idea what strange virus could have caused this. Within a week they had all died, leaving everyone stumped as to what had caused this virus. So never ever drink water from the Jordan River!
