School of Fine Arts (May, 2002)
The School of Fine Arts wanted to gather usability data to guide the design of the Flash version of its website. The Fine Arts team contributed to the success of the project by scheduling participants and attending all of the sessions. The project was completed within two weeks, enabling the School of Fine Arts to make changes to the design before its release.
OneStart Portal (Jun, 2000 - present)
Indiana University is currently designing a webportal system to be used by over 100,000 students, faculty and staff throughout the eight IU campuses. The UXG lab has played a significant role in designing and testing the user interface.
Learn more about the project and see a prototype on the OneStart project home page.

IU Information Environment (IUIE) (Jul, 2000; Feb, 2001)
IUIE is a business data reporting application used by IU administration. When the development team required assistance with certain aspects of the interface design and wanted to evaluate the system's usability prior to initial rollout in August 2000, the UXG lab led the planning, implementation, analysis and reporting efforts.
School of Continuing Studies (Sept-Nov, 2000)
The School of Continuing Studies at Indiana University made changes to their site, but before they did, they wanted usability data and guidance on how to obtain it. The current site resides at scs.indiana.edu and the results of our study are being used to drive the site's redesign.
IU Web Registration(Nov, 2000)
When it came time for the old course registration system at IU to move on to the Web, a number of interface issues had to be resolved. UXG contributed to this process and the new registration system was piloted in the Fall '00 semester with 1000+ students. Web Reg has since gone into production for all students at IU in the spring of 2001.
