North Parking Garage
The project, Superblock as it is referred to, involves the construction of two new buildings and a parking garage where the existing Fee Lane Parking Garage is located. The buildings will form a courtyard open to the west and with an entrance from the south. As part of the construction, utilities in the area of the building will be renewed. The main campus steam service from the Central Heating Plant (two-16" pipes) will be replaced with a new service running north to south under the new School of Business building. New sanitary and storm sewers will be added through the courtyard to serve the buildings, courtyard, and surrounding area.
As part of the project, 11th Street will be realigned to more closely match the existing 11th Street to the west. New chilled water for cooling and domestic water service for the Business School will be placed in the road. In Fee Lane, new communications and electrical services will be installed to upgrade existing services and to serve the Business School.
