Thank you for making the extraordinary decision to serve our country. Veterans Support Services is committed to providing personal support and assistance for military students and families. We are here to serve you, and we encourage you to visit our office for help with any student- or military-related concern.  

Yellow Ribbon Applications Accepted Beginning 8 a.m. May 21

The Yellow Ribbon contract renewal is now official. Effective 8/1/12, a maximum of 40 students eligible for YR benefits will receive up to $6,250 per academic year, equally matched by the VA, with a total benefit of up to $12,500. Benefits are capped at $3,125 per term for a total tuition and fees offset of up to $6,250 per term ($3,250 VA funds, $3,250 IU funds).

Applications are now available and will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012. Applications sent prior to 8 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012, will not be accepted or returned. Applications must be hand signed and may be faxed to 812-856-2486, scanned and emailed to vetserv@indiana.edu or submitted in person or mailed to Veterans Support Services, Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E 7th Street Room M084, Bloomington, IN 47405.

CVO Applications for 2012-2013 Now Available

The State of Indiana has released its application for CVO benefits for the 2012-2013 school year. You can find more information about the benefits and locate the application here.

Yellow Ribbon Update

Yellow Ribbon applications for the 2012-2013 academic year will be accepted beginning Tuesday, May 15 at 8:00am EDT. Applications received prior to this will not be accepted or returned. New application forms will be available soon. Come back regularly for additional information.

Free One-on-One Library Research Assistance Now Available

Do you need help with research for writing a paper or a project? A librarian from the Wells Library will be on site to assist with research-related materials. Research assistance will be every Thursday afternoon from 12 to 1 p.m. Please feel free to walk in for consultations or schedule an appointment.

New Tuition Assistance Overview: goarmyed.com

National Guard soldiers now must use goarmyed.com instead of the minuteman website IOT to request Tuition Assistance.
