Controlling the Remote (Far) Site Camera in a Point to Point Connection

In a point-point conference, you can control the remote (far) site's pan-tilt-zoom camera. You can also select the remote site's camera presets.
From a Polycom group system:
  1. Press the "far" button on the Polycom remote control.
  2. Press the left/right/up/down or zoom +/- buttons to move the far camera. Or, press a number button to choose a camera preset.
Note: To program a camera preset on the remote site: press Select, then hold down a number button for three seconds. Your presets will not overwrite the local camera presets set by the remote operator, and will only be "remembered" for the duration of your call.
From a Polycom personal system:
  1. Press the Controls button to drop down the camera controls tab.
  2. Press the left/right/up/down or zoom +/- buttons to move the far camera. Note that you cannot select the remote site's camera presets from a personal system.

Controlling the Remote (Far) Site Camera in a Video Bridge Connection

When you dial into one of the conferences: Video Bridge 5A (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 5B (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 5C (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 10A (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 10B (317-278-xxxx phone), you can control the pan-tilt-zoom camera of one of the conference participants as described below. (Note that you cannot select their auxiliary cameras or presets.)
  1. Press the "far" button on your Polycom remote control.
  2. Press the left/right buttons to move the site whose camera you wish to control into the largest window on the left side or top-left corner of your conference view.
  3. Press the "Zoom +" button on your Polycom remote control. Note the icon far-end control icon that appears on the left upper corner. You can now move that site's camera using the up/down/left/right and "zoom +/-" buttons on your Polycom remote control.

Controlling the Conference View (Layout) in a Video Bridge Connection

When you dial into one of the conferences: Video Bridge 5A (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 5B (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 5C (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 10A (317-278-xxxx phone), Video Bridge 10B (317-278-xxxx phone), you can control the conference view at your end as described below.
  1. Press the "far" button on your Polycom remote control.
  2. Press the "up/down" buttons to cycle through the available views.
