About Us

We are committed to serving both internal and external constituents with the utmost fiduciary responsibility and professionalism.

This office manages the preparation, approval, and administration of the university’s $2.4 billion budget, manages IU’s investments, and supervises business and financial affairs, institutional research, auxiliary operations, and the IU Bloomington bursar.

Further, we develop and implement financial plans and policies to support IU’s objectives:

  • educating students
  • serving the state
  • promoting the development of new knowledge

We strive to deliver efficient and pro-active management of university financial assets through sound fiscal policies and practices, knowledge management, and consulting services.
