I am an adjunct faculty at Indiana University's School of Fine Arts. My partner and roommates are currently graduate students at the School of Fine Art. We are seeking a 3-bedroom home somewhere close to the Bloomington campus/downtown area, ideally for less than $1000 a month. We are all responsible, clean, non-smoking adults with good credit, and we very much hope to find a home that we can live in for the next two to three years. We have one fastidious cat, and only one vehicle between all of us. Ideally we are looking for an older home, hardwood floors, gas heat/gas stove, and something with a porch (front/or back) and/or yard/gardening area. A garage or outbuilding/good storage area is a plus. We are happy to do yard maintenance because we all very much enjoy gardening. We can easily provide character references through IU faculty as well as references from landlords (also former faculty) in town. Thank you so much for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Feel free to email, call, or text.

We - my wife, my kids (4 and 1 year) and I - are looking for a place (house, townhouse, apartment) to rent in a quiet, family-oriented area of Bloomington. A reasonable bus connection to IU near Sample Gates would be great. It should have at least 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, but larger is also welcome. I am a postdoc at the physics department. We are currently renting a furnished place and it would be nice to have a partially furnished place again but this is optional. Availability from summer 2014 for one year to 15 month is also preferred but not required. Please contact us via e-mail.
I'm looking for a one bedroom apartment that allows dogs. I have a labrador. It would be good if it is close to IU Campus or on a bus line. A long term lease would be great. Rent around $500 month. I will be working in the Physics Department. Please email me.
