Employment

The OVPGC provides legal advice about the University’s rights and obligations under laws that impact its relationship with its employees. The OVPGC advises on the development and implementation of employment policies, the administrative process for discipline or termination of IU employees, the employee grievance process, faculty retention, promotion and tenure decisions, and employment discrimination claims. The OVPGC also advises IU in complying with state and federal employment laws and represents IU in grievance matters.

*Attorneys in the OVPGC do not provide legal advice to employees in their personal matters, including their employment relationship with the University.
