University Strategic Planning and Reporting

The strategic planning and reporting mission of OVPPP includes developing and articulating university-wide objectives and organization as well as assessing and communicating progress toward those objectives.

In his inaugural address, IU’s eighteenth president, Michael A. McRobbie, articulated an ambitious plan for the university.

In his first State of the University address, President McRobbie provided an update on the strategic priorities he announced in his 2007 inaugural address, including increasing the amount of space available for teaching and research, furthering the university’s international presence, and strengthening the university’s life sciences infrastructure and programs in the interest of statewide economic development.

The Office of University Planning, Institutional Research, and Accountability also has strategic planning and reporting functions.
