I was moved deeply to see Dr. Wells
I was moved deeply to see Dr. Wells in a wheelchair at an IU basketball game when the handicapped still sat at floor level in the northeast corner of Assembly Hall. He was dressed in a red tam o shanter hat and red blazer. When the Star Spangled Banner was played he (of course) removed his head gear and rose with great difficulty to stand at his wheelchair for the playing of our national anthem.
