K-12 Educators

A quick overview and direct links to resources and information for K-12 educators teaching about West Europe

One of WEST’s responsibilities is to assist K-12 teachers in bringing Western Europe to the classroom. We offer a variety of resources to create lesson plans, use interactive technology to connect with Europeans and European experts, and bring cultural items to you and your students. We also sponsor events exclusively for K-12 teachers, including an annual summer language workshop for teachers of French, German, and Spanish. In addition, the European Union Center has a wide range of activities specifically about the EU.
