WEST wants to help teachers teach their K-12 students about Western Europe. WEST offers a variety of resources to create lesson plans, use interactive technology to connect with Europeans and European experts, and bring cultural items to your classroom.

The Center for the Study of Global Change’s International Studies Summer Institute (ISSI) is a residential institute for educators of grades six and above. At the institute, educators gain an understanding of international issues facing the world today and learn about innovative ways to bring international issues to their classrooms. Upon completion of the institute, participants will receive materials including Graham Pike and David Selby’s In the Global Classroom, a flash drive with numerous electronic resources, and print resources, among others. We welcome applications from educators in the United States and abroad. - International Studies in Schools

The WEST office houses over 600 feature films and 50 documentaries, as well as book titles and periodicals, all covering West European topics. Country publications on Belgium, Cyprus, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Sweden, and Norway are also available.
