Joe Bourne is producer/host of the daily jazz program, "Just You & Me." He began his career in public radio some 40 years ago, while a Sociology student at Bellarmine College. Two years at the Louisville School of Art intensified his interest in the visual arts, but the aural outs won out when he returned to radio to host classical and jazz programs at WFPL in Louisville. Joe is now in his 15th year as jazz host and movie critic at WFIU, where his goal has been "to bring to the everyday listener my love for an art form with a complex and fascinating history. And I believe jazz is made all the more appealing when we get to know and appreciate those people who spend their lives creating this music."

Besides his daily stint on WFIU, you'll hear Joe hosting a weekly show of Big Bands on Friday nights, and getting us ready for the weekend by playing the blues and R&B music each Friday afternoon.
