About "One World"
One World, a program dedicated to musics of the world's peoples,
is a production of WFIU in Bloomington, Indiana. Drawing on the unique resources of
Indiana University's Archive of Traditional Music (the largest of its kind in North
America), producer/host Chris Smith presents global musics in an accessible, informative
and entertaining format, including concert and studio performances, unique interviews, and
recordings unavailable anywhere else. Chris and his guests explore the meaning and the
messages of the music through its most vital resource: people.
