The Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis

How to Apply

We have a limited number of Visiting Scholar positions, for which we receive many applications. We recommend that you study our website in order to get a better sense of the material covered in our Y673 Seminar, Workshop Colloquium Series, and other activities.

Because visitors are expected to deliver a colloquium and to attend and participate in weekly seminars, at a minimum, a moderate amount of proficiency in speaking and understanding English is required. All seminar and colloquium sessions are in English, and attendance and participation in these sessions is expected of all visitors. Inability to meet this requirement reduces the learning experience for visitors and limits contributions from our visitors toward the learning experience for all Workshop colleagues.

To apply, please send the following materials to Carol Buszkiewicz by mail service or by email cbuszkie@indiana.edu, which will be included in your application file.

For the 2010–2011 academic year, we must receive all materials by March 1, 2010. The Workshop directors will meet in early March to review all application files. In order to help us assess applicants, we may request a phone interview or other additional information.
