Circulation Policies

booksBorrowing Privileges
Workshop affiliated faculty, staff, and students may borrow library materials. 

Loan Periods
Reserve Materials
This includes items placed on reserve for courses and other high-use materials. Reserve items may be checked out for 24 hours.

Books and Reprint Files
This includes items from the Tocqueville Collection and Urban Collection. These items may be checked out for the current semester.

Audio Visual
This includes a collection of video tapes, CDs, and DVDs. Movies may be checked out for three days. All other audio-visual items have a one-day loan period.

Non-Circulating Materials
The following types of materials do not circulate:

Borrowers’ Responsibility
Borrowers are responsible for materials checked out in their names. It is the responsibility of each borrower to inform the WRL of a change of mailing address, telephone number, or e-mail address.

Circulation Notices
At the end of each semester a circulation notice is sent as a courtesy reminder. Patrons are responsible for returning materials by the due date.
