The resources listed on this page are the most frequently used by Workshop students and faculty. However, there are many more online journals and newsletters available. As not all resources are available to all users, please look at the Access Key to determine what access restrictions there are (if any) for a particular resource.

A multi-disciplinary database containing full text from nearly 3,200 scholarly publications. Coverage includes the social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies.
Digital Library of the Commons
A gateway to the international literature on the commons, common-pool resources and common property.
Google Scholar
This is a special version of Google's index to scholarly content on the web that connects to full-text resources available to IU users. Requires sign-on for off-campus use.
IUCAT
Online catalog for Indiana University Libraries.
JSTOR
Contains full text of many scholarly journals, largely in the fields of ecology, economics, education, finance, history, mathematics, political science, and population studies.
ProQuest Environmental Science Collection
Abstracts and citations drawn from over 4000 scientific journals and thousands of other sources including conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books and government publications.
ProQuest Political Science
This database gives users access to over 140 leading political science and international relations journals. This collection provides full-text of many core titles included in Worldwide Political Science Abstracts.
SSRN (Social Science Research Network)
Pre-print service and institutional archives of academic journal articles.
Web of Knowledge
An interface that allows cross-searching of Web of Science, BIOSIS Previews, Medline, Zoological Record, and JCR. Not all fields from individual databases are included.
WorldCat
Catalog of more than 100 million records from libraries around the world.
