Planning is currently underway for the fifth “Workshop on the Ostrom Workshop” (WOW5) conference to be held at Indiana University Bloomington, June 18–21, 2014. The WOW conference is an event held every five years by The Vincent and Elinor Ostrom Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis. All conference sessions will be held at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) on campus.

WOW5 will be organized around “Working Groups,” as has been done for the past two WOW events. Each working group will plan and organize what they want to accomplish during these sessions. Our aim is to facilitate the plans of each of the separate working groups. Note: The Working Group submissions deadline has passed.

For those scheduled to participate in a Working Group, we require Abstract submissions for your presentation. (Note: The unaffiliated abstract submissions deadline has passed.) Paper submissions for WOW5 associated with presentations are welcome, but they are not required.

Please register using the Online Conference Registration Form and refer to the Lodging and Travel page for making your own reservations.

We will be posting information to this website as it becomes available, so please check back often. For any questions regarding WOW5, please contact Gayle Higgins at Past WOW papers and websites are available online at:

We are looking forward to celebrating this event with Workshop alumni, colleagues, staff, and friends.
