Elizabeth Dewberry

Elizabeth Dewberry is the Playwright-in-Residence at Florida State University. She is the author of three full-length plays, Four Joans and aElizabeth Dewberry Fire-Eater, Flesh and Blood, and Many Things Have Happened Since He Died, as well as four one-act plays, Head On, Happy Mug, Who’s on Top and Virtual Virtue. She is also the author of three novels: Sacrament of Lies, Break the Heart of Me and Many Things Have Happened Since He Died: And Here Are the Highlights. Dewberry has also written several articles for journals such as 21st: The Journal of Contemporary Photography, The Cambridge Hemingway Companion, The Hemingway Review, The Comparatist and Modern Fiction Studies. She is currently working on a new novel, His Lovely Wife, and a new full-length play, Goddesses in Distress.

Elizabeth Dewberry will be teaching a playwriting class, Writing the Ten-Minute Play: A Workshop, with Insights on Writing Longer Plays, at the 2003 conference. (No pre-written manuscripts are required.)
