Rooms are set aside for conferees at both the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU), where most events of the conference are held, or at the Willkie Quadrangle dormitory, located within a walking distance of 15-20 minutes from the Union.

The Indiana Memorial Union

Rooms at the Indiana Memorial Union are standard air-conditioned hotel rooms. Those who prefer not to walk much should plan to stay at the Union. Those who stay at the IMU hotel can park in the Union lots for free during the duration of the conference.

Hotel amenities include express check-out, 24-hour front desk service, complimentary parking, bell service, 24-hour on-site fitness center, luggage hold service, dry cleaning service, on-site packaging and mailing services, Indianapolis Airport shuttle service, IU Bookstore, on-site restaurants and a convenience store (snacks, news stand, sundries, and more). The IMU Hotel is wheelchair accessible and non-smoking rooms are available.

Each room is equipped with private voicemail, complimentary in-room coffee, cable TV, a work desk with lamp, and iron and ironing board are available.

Willkie Quadrangle

Rooms at the Willkie Quadrangle are air-conditioned, newly renovated dormitory rooms, each with an adjoining shared bathroom. Each floor has a common kitchenette that is accessible with a key card. All kitchens are equipped with a microwave and sink, some have a stove/oven, and some have ice machines. There are no refrigerators. Please note that the kitchens are not equipped with cooking or cleaning utensils.

All rooms have telephones, bed linens, towels, and bedspread. Soap bars are available from the center desk upon request.

You will pay for your stay at Willkie upon arrival. Cash or check only, please.

Housing is filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and is subject to Indiana state sales tax.

Conferees may also make their own reservations at local motels, hotels or bed and breakfasts.

Parking Information

Parking is available in the Willkie lot for $4 per day, or you may wish to purchase a parking pass for $7 for the entire conference week, which will allow you to park in faculty and student parking garages and lots. If you are staying at the IMU Hotel, you can park in its lot for free. If you are not staying at the IMU Hotel, you will have to pay to park in IMU lots.

Willkie parking permits can be purchased during check-in at Willkie's center desk. Week-long passes can be purchased at check-in at the Indiana Memorial Union on Sunday, June 8, 2008.
