This class provides storage up to 1 GB for each student. Each student receives a password-protected folder. The server is accessible using the following steps on a Mac computer, on or off-campus (outside of lab environment, you must use VPN.

Go to the Apple Finder Window (access this window by clicking on the desktop background – also look at the menu header to confirm a bold FINDER appears to the left on the top menu)

Choose: GO
Select: CONNECT TO SERVER
Type Address: bl-mus-ives.ads.iu.edu
Select Volume: Students
Open Folder: z120

Your student folder will be labeled with your IU user ID name.

STUDENTS VOLUME
This is your personal folder for storing lab, homework and project files. This is not routinely backed up so you must have another copy of your project file on a DVD, CD or USB drive. Each student receives 1 GB. These folders are emptied two weeks before the beginning of the next semester. I will not grade projects that are stored in this folder.
