GRADING SCALE - Grades are assigned based upon the total number of points that you earn for the semester divided by the 200 total points possible.

A+ = 98% (196-200) A = 92% (184-195) A- = 90% (180-183)
B+ = 88% (176-179) B = 82% (164-175) B- = 80% (160-163)
C+ = 78% (156-159) C = 72% (144-155) C- = 70% (140-143)
D+ = 68% (136-139) D = 62% (124-135) D- = 60% (120-123)
F = (119 points and below)

PLEASE NOTE: The grading scale is hard and fast. You will receive the grade you earn. I go by point totals and will not round up. For example, 179 points out of 200 (89.5%) will get you a B+ even though you may wish it to be magically considered 90% for the A-. Don’t expect special treatment.
