This 48-credit hour degree prepares you for a career as a school counselor in Pre-K through post secondary school settings.
School counselors engage in a number of activities aimed at promoting student development and well-being. Such activities include assessment and intervention as it relates to academic and career development as well as supporting social and emotional learning.
Through coursework and field experiences you'll develop the knowledge and skills to work with a diverse student body and learn how to communicate effectively with a variety of other educational and mental health professionals to foster the academic, personal, and career development of your students.
