European Studies
About
The Master of Arts in European Studies prepares our graduate students to become experts in Europe with their own individual focus. EURO alumni have gone on to enter various careers in fields such as government, nonprofit, politics, education, research, and business.
EURO has a long history of many Foreign Area Officers (FAOs) successfully completing the program. In fact, nearly one-third of all EURO alums are FAOs who serve as military attaches in American embassies in Europe.
The M.A. in European Studies is a highly individualized degree.
Students entering the program have the flexibility to tailor their course of study to their individual interests. While our graduates are well prepared to pursue a variety of career paths, the M.A. degree represents a step toward doctoral studies for many students.
Our degree requirements are highly flexible while providing students with a multidisciplinary understanding of Europe and its role in the world.
