Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction

About

Creating a functional, intuitive, and user-friendly experience with technology is the focus of our Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction degree. Students learn how to shape new media, interactive tools, artifacts, and systems in ways that contribute to engaging user experiences, serve the need of stakeholders, facilitate communication, and enrich the lives of the people using them.

Students learn to solve problems creatively, and they have the option to follow four program themes—interaction design, UX research, design strategy, or academic scholarship and creative activity—that allow them to shape their career paths. Our graduates are hired by companies such as Oracle, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Allied Solutions, and they enjoy an average starting salary of nearly $84,000.
